Odyssey 2012 Forged Milled ProType iX Putter is the latest top of the line putter offered by Odyssey Japan. This is a Japan Only model and features a new White Hot insert (slightly firmer than standard) for improved soft feel. Each putter comes with a weight kit with 2 x 10 gram weights, 2 x 15 gram weights, and 2 x 20 gram weights. This allows the player to adjust between 340 and 360 grams head weight for preferred feel. The HT models are for High Toe, where the toe region is made taller in height. It comes in a Black PVD finish for a reduced glare and added focus point on the white aim line.

The Odyssey 2012 Forged Milled ProType iX Putter was made from the input of Callaway/Odyssey professionals on the Japan Tour. The Black PVD finish and the new White Hot insert was created to meet the high demands from the professionals. The High Toe was also a popular choice for the pros. The new White Hot insert was created due to high amounts of request for a little firmer feeling face from the professionals. The ProType line was first a Prototype putter used only by the tour professionals, but are now being released to the public.
